Description
Beautiful ‘lowboy’ chest of drawers in Tasmanian Blackwood. This lovely set of 4 drawers is in fantastic original condition, has not been completely restored as in our opinion it did not require it. Has been cleaned up and oiled and it presents very well, with only minor scuffs and wear typical of a used piece of this age. The lipped handles have a lovely concaved shape to them and each drawers opens and closes smoothly. A very solid, well made piece that has lovely grain and colour to it. Structurally excellent, with only scuff and loss of varnish to the bottom right hand side as pictured.
