Description
Beautifully restored, original R160 Contour Chair by Grant Featherston produced in the mid 1950s. Silky Oak base was removed and completely refinished, presents very well and is now very solid. Original shell was stripped and reupholstered in high quality 100% wool by Kvadrat in a vibrant green. This is a statement piece that is incredibly comfortable. This is an unstamped early original as I cannot locate the original stamp anywhere to the base. Was found in the home of the original owner who had it since new. Still had original fabric and all original wear and tear proving its age and authenticity. Can provide photos of the chair prior to its restoration to anybody interested.
